About my therapy methods
Rapid Transformational Therapy is Marisa Peers’ complete solution-based treatment combining the most beneficial principles of Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) which is known to produce a transformative effect on clients using deepening, regression, and hypnotic suggestions.
This method is equipped with an array of techniques that assist in examining the ways our childhood, unprocessed emotions and experiences or social conditioning affects our lives as an adult.
Our subconscious mind loves the familiar and avoids the unfamiliar, learns by repetition and responds to the pictures we make and the words we tell ourselves and will present this back. RTT also helps to teach ways to communicate with our subconscious mind to create new empowered patterns of behaviour.
Reiki is a type of complementary therapy relating to Energy Healing. It is based on the idea that unseen life force energy runs through us. ‘Rei’ means Universal and ‘Ki’ means Life Energy. Energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical or emotional pain.
Just as the subconscious mind presents back to us what we tell ourselves our energy attracts similar energy. Some people are familiar with this via the Law of Attraction.
During the session Healing Energy can be used to realign the mind-body connection and connection to source energy in relieving pain, rebalancing, clearing, soothing and reducing energy blockages.
Anything discussed during your session is entirely confidential. The sessions are not recorded. The only recording is an audio of your personalized transformational recording.
The only time your therapist would discuss your session is if they had a reason to believe that a child or vulnerable adult was at risk.
Many people think that there is something about hypnosis which is markedly different from their ‘normal’ state of consciousness. A light trance/hypnotic state will feel no different from relaxation. In fact, you will be more aware in hypnosis. There is no right or wrong way to experience hypnosis. You don’t go anywhere, and many people don’t realise they are in hypnosis until they come out of it.
What makes this therapy so amazing is that even if you think you know the reason, you see it in a COMPLETELY new way. That’s what allows you to change the meaning and ultimately, change your beliefs. And for many clients they go back to scenes that are totally different to what they expected. Just relax and trust your subconscious mind will show you exactly what you need to see.
Regression is an invaluable way to discover the source of an issue. You will not re-experience anything, you will simply observe events or experiences, you have had in the past to allow them to heal. I will support you and create a safe space for you to express emotions to allow them to heal. If at any time you would like to open your eyes, that’s perfectly ok too – Healing occurs at a speed that is right for you.
Energy healing can be transferred on the sources of specific conditions, by placing hands lightly on or over specific areas of the head, limbs, or torso alternatively this can be sent remotely via distance healing. You may sense warmth, cooling or slight tingling, the most common reports are of a release of stress and deep relaxation.
Many clients feel more relaxed, safer, and less anxious in the comfort of their own home. I am a testament to the success of online therapy, I have delivered and received my own personal RTT and Energy Healing sessions via Zoom with phenomenal results.
During the session you will inevitably uncover some outdated beliefs that have been explored and replaced with more powerful and empowering one. As a result of this both your body and mind need a way to expel these old programs and re balance themselves. As with most things in life, everyone’s experience is different. You may experience a low mood, headache or feel tired. However, you may also experience feelings of unexplained joy, increased energy and being much more positive.
It is also helpful to know that the mind loves what familiar and learns by repetition therefore you may feel some degree of resistance. But by continuing to listen to your recording for the full 21 days, this resistance and old patterns of behavior will pass, and your new beliefs will be cemented into your subconscious. Research shows that new habits take up to 21 days to form so listening to your recording for 21 days is vitally important.
